Today Billy and I auditioned actors for the reading of the play. I thought we should take out an ad in Hollywood Reporter but he said there was no need for that kind of money being spent. He explained that he could get all the talent he wanted without spending a dime on advertising. Well, I was certainly open for suggestions. He took meto this place called 'Show World', and I thought 'how perfect.' Anyway, he takes me into a booth where we met Natasha
, a lovely girl from the Ukraine, who has agreed to play the part of Margaret Baird in our upcoming reading. And she only wants 20 dollars and a 'gram of H' whatever that is. Billy says it's no probem because he knows where to get 'the best stuff.'
One thing that kind of threw me during the meeting with Natasha, was that she was completely naked during the whole time we were talking, and as we did, she danced and manipulated her genitals. To be honest, I found this a bit embarrassing. I myself do not feel comfortable getting naked in front of other people and as a matter of fact, I don't really like being naked when I'm by myself. So I was actually quite relieved when I noticed that Billy had his pants around his ankles and was manipulating his genitals, you know, in order to make her feel more comfortable, which was a very good thing, because, as I said, she agreed to do the reading. Billy even offered to pay to have the back of my jacket dry cleaned (don't ask.)
Good luck with your reading. I hope it goes well. I would love to be a famous actor like you one day. I have already starred in four class plays and I'm only 11. Do you have any parts for boys in your play?

Unfortunately there are no roles for a young man like yourself, Terry. I had originally written a character which you would have probably been perfect for, the character of Malcolm Baird, the young son who would follow in his fathers footsteps. However, I had to cut the part because Billy B., my new producer has refused to work with young children due to circumstances that he feels are 'none of my business'. And I can respect that, especially because he broke a table, three chairs and an umbrella when I tried discussing it with him.

Hello there,
I am the son of the late John Logie Baird and the late Margaret Baird, and I see that there has been a play written about the family, but I cannot get the gist of it from your website.
Naturally I'm interested and I wonder if you could kindly let me have an update!
Sincerely,
Malcolm Baird

Can I share something funny? I have an ex that can't let go that left obnoxious comments on my blogs and he left one in the guise of Stanley Moyes who has been dead for two years! That is how I found out about Stanley and his work.

oops, stanley, you are alive. The dates under the pics fooled me. Lol. I just want you to know that the comments you "left" were so obnoxious that I had to delete them. But I just wanted you to know someone was impersonating you on the internet. A new one for your stories.
